A wedding gift from the beggar Hugh Munro, the dragonfly in amber was one of the few items found on the battlefield after Culloden, and is discovered by Claire in the Culloden museum during Claire's search for Jamie in modern-day Scotland.

Though not a real dragonfly and not real amber, this was the most realistic way to capture this beautiful theme. This glass critter is set into sterling silver, surrounded by a granular circle, and sits atop a forget-me-not ring band.
